Going on is not heroic, because you have no choice. It is brave and takes strength to handle things in the best of our ability, but what else would we do, but carry on? To accept change is life. Life is always going to change and move and spin, and there is no way off. You just have to keep your focus on what is stable and permanent and move with the changes that are trying to knock you over and strangle you. You have to move and learn and accept and grow. Because if you refuse, that means you’ve stopped and then the change will choke out your breath and it will be oh so much harder to get up again while life keeps spinning around you and flying far away to where you can’t be. You just have to create your new life and love it as much as the old one, except in a different way. And you must keep the old one a part of you because it’ll be coming back for a visit, and you will realise you are happier than you have ever been, just to have the taste.

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and its harder every time. You’ll break hearts too so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You’ll fight with your best friend. You’ll blame a new love for things an old one did. You’ll cry because time is passing too fast, and you’ll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, love like you’ve never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you’ll never get back. Don’t be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin
